Request for contact
Some time ago, we sent you a letter asking you to contact us. This may be because a vehicle with which an offence has been committed is registered in your name, or because you have been named as the driver.
You are the person in whose name a vehicle is registered
You have a vehicle that is registered in your name. An offence has been committed with that vehicle. We want to check whether you were the driver at the time of the offence.
You have been named as the driver
An offence has been committed with a vehicle. The vehicle's owner has notified us that you were the driver. We want to check whether you really were the driver at the time of the offence.
The letter asks that you contact us before a specified date.
It will tell you how you can contact us.
